Website review

A website review, before and after.

A retrospective of the RigSide RV Plumbing website engagement. The initial review was on August 28, 2026; the rebuild went live on August 31. This was a free founding-client engagement.

Your free audit covers what I can assess, what I would address first and what the work might cost. I’ll identify anything that needs more information.

The business

The owner travels to customers to carry out repairs. The website needed to help a visitor check the service area and get in touch.

What I found

The site did not clearly explain the current service area or availability. A newsletter signup competed with the service-contact options. Form delivery had not been confirmed at the time of the initial review.

There were also generic stock photos, text errors, and social links that opened Facebook’s homepage instead of a business profile.

Why I would address this first

A visitor needs to know whether the business can serve them and how to request help. An unclear service area or unreliable contact form can cost inquiries. We do not have the records to estimate how many jobs, if any, were lost.

What I recommended

  • Make the current service area and availability easy to find.
  • Give calling and requesting service a clear place on each page.
  • Trace a test request from the form to an inbox, then check the final delivery destination.

What was built

The work became a five-page rebuild on the hosting the business already owned. It was prepared on a separate copy, checked on desktop and phone, and cut over to the live domain on August 31. Form delivery to a test inbox was checked before cutover.

Inquiry and booking changes have not been measured.

How project quotes work

Paid work is quoted for your project. You’ll receive a fixed written quote before any paid work starts. I don’t bill for anything you didn’t approve in writing. Your quote lists exactly what is included.

The audit is yours to keep. Use it yourself, pass it to your existing provider, or ask me about the work. There is no obligation.
